Rotorua Lakes Council has now considered the recommendations of the independent commissioners at a meeting held on Friday, 11 December 2020. It was decided to adopt the commissioner's recommendations and report as their decision on the plan change.

Due to the holiday period, we will not formally provide notice of this decision, and the period for lodging appeals until the New Year, 2021. However, we wanted to keep you informed.

In the New Year, we plan to send maps to landowners showing the significant natural areas adopted as a result of this decision.
