Plan Change 8 - Natural Hazards

These changes aim to improve how we manage natural hazard risks throughout the district through the Rotorua District Plan, including in the Lakes A Zone, from flooding, active fault rupture, land stability (slope stability, liquefaction and soft soils), geothermal hazards and wildfire.

Note that submitters are asked to attend from the beginning of their allocated session time and submitters may not be called in the order listed. Note also that this timetable is subject to change, so we suggest you check the timetable regularly throughout the hearing. We will also inform submitters personally of any change in session times that relate to their presentations.
