Plan Change 8 - Natural Hazards
The submission period has closed for submissions on proposed changes to the Rotorua District Plan.
These changes aim to improve how we manage natural hazard risks throughout the district, including in the Lakes A Zone, from flooding, active fault rupture, land stability (slope stability, liquefaction and soft soils), geothermal hazards and wildfire.
Late submissions will still be received but will need to be accepted for consideration by the Independent Hearings Panel.
- You can view the summaries and full copies of submissions on Plan Change 8 in the following links.
- Further submissions, either supporting or opposing the original submissions, can be made between Friday 17 October and Friday 31 October 📆.
