Concept design

Here is the draft concept design of the new playground. It features a colourful slide, a large climbing tower, a flying fox and log and rock features for climbing back up the hill. There is a path that goes up and around the hill, which can be used by bikes, scooters and pushchairs. There is also seating space nearby.

About this renewal

About this play space renewal

Rotorua Lakes Council is replacing the playground near Alison Street (Linton Park East) with two new play spaces:

The site at Deborah Place is unique, with a large hill that we will incorporate into the playground.

We want this play space to appeal to older children (10 years to teenagers) by making this space adventurous and fun!
