About this play space renewal
The playground near Alison Street in the Linton Park East reserve is due for a full renewal. This means that the equipment is reaching the end of its life and needs to be replaced.
Rotorua Lakes Council will be creating two new play spaces to replace the current playground:
- Alison Street - a smaller playground situated closer to Alison Street with a focus on equipment suitable for younger tamariki
- Deborah Place - a play space at the end of Deborah Place, incorporating adventure-based elements focusing on older tamariki and rangatahi
This survey is for the Deborah Place Play Space. Opening soon!
We want to ensure that the community has the opportunity to contribute to the design of the new play space, to generate a sense of pride and ownership, and to ensure Council creates a space that reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.
We have created a survey to gather information about how people currently use the reserve and to capture ideas about what the community would like to see in the play space.
